- Collaborate with the Executive Director and leadership team to develop and implement organizational policies and strategic goals.
- Assist with budget oversight and financial planning, working closely with the Director of Finance to monitor expenses and recommend cost-saving measures.
- Act as a liaison between the executive office and staff, ensuring clarity and alignment in policy implementation and communication.
- Support department managers in staff hiring, onboarding, and performance management.
- Lead organization-wide projects or initiatives as directed, ensuring timely execution within budget parameters.
- Represent OSI at external events, conferences, and meetings to strengthen partnerships and raise organizational visibility.
- Champion program quality and growth by seeking innovative practices and applying continuous improvement strategies.
- Foster effective working relationships with internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Monitor and ensure compliance with all relevant laws, licensing regulations, and safety standards.
- Support compliance with Department of Human Services regulations, including preparation for and participation in state licensing inspections and corrective planning.
Qualifications
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Administration, Special Education, Psychology, Public Health, Rehabilitation, Social Work, or a related human services field.
- Minimum of 3 years of supervisory or administrative experience.
- At least 1 year of direct experience working with individuals with disabilities.
- Proven experience in operations, project management, or cross-functional team leadership.

- Strong verbal and written communication using professional language and etiquette.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Effective listener with emotional intelligence and adaptability to diverse communication styles.
- Strategic thinker and problem-solver with ability to make informed, data-driven decisions.
- Capable of balancing independent workload with support for team initiatives.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; ability to learn and use additional software systems.
- Flexibility in work schedule to accommodate organizational needs.
